Hi

Since the last system UpDate on June 18 Chromium will not start.

In Task Manager appears only chromium / chromium.
And the computer can no longer reboot or shutdown.

When I try to start Chromium in the terminal nothing happen`s.

I have tried various tricks are circulating on the net. (downgrade libxcursor, etc).
Still the same.

On a test system, I have switched from "nouveau" to" nvidia" and lo and behold. It runs.

But I would like to stay with the nouveau driver.

Where should I start?

Go back to nouveau, load up a terminal and run chromium in terminal. That should tell us something.

Also, there might be something in the system journal.

No "output".

After that i`ve got "chromium/chromium" in taskmanager.

The system can not reboot or turn off.

I tried on my test system antergos and manjaro.

Antergos is also affected by this bug.

I have tried the following: sudo unlink / usr / share / icons / default.

Did you also delete the index.theme file that got installed to the wrong dir because of that symlink?

Then I removed the symlink and index.theme away.
I have downgraded "libxcursor".

I've rebooted and chromium started without problems.

Then I turned off the computer and started again after a while.
And lo and behold.
Chromium will not start
