I have installed the latest Arch Linux on Lenovo Yoga 2 laptop with i5 4200U processor and a built-in Intel 4400 graphics. The image looks good on the buillt-in screen, but on my HDMI connected monitor it looks like jpeg compression. The resolution is not responsible for this because it is set to the monitor's native 1920x1080.
Here are two images that I took with my mobile:

Notice the lighter pixels around the text and pixels with out-of-place colors between uniform areas in the second image.
This problem does not exist in Windows, and I had a good picture on this monitor with another computer using Nvidia card. I suppose it must be the Linux Intel driver, but how to fix it?

Here is what happens when the text is scrolled:

The lighter pixels around letters form a comet-like trace.

It was the microHDMI-HDMI cable. I changed the cable and now it's fine. Of course I don't understand.
