Steam crashes with radeon driver

Running Steam on arch rolling 32-bit
STEAM_RUNTIME is enabled automatically

This is the error I get on a clean install of steam. It runs if I use STEAM_RUNTIME = 0 but then the html content does not render. So I can't even browse the store.
