Hey, what happened to glxgears?

After the latest Xorg 7 upgrade, things feel a lot faster, but glxgears and glxinfo have disappeared. :?

What package did they get switched over to?

Re: Hey, what happened to glxgears?

Oooo, new Xorg 7 upgrade!  I'm feeling adventurous... let's see if it breaks fglrx!  XD

Gullible, if I happen to still have glxinfo on my system after the upgrade, I'll let you know what it belongs to.

Otherwise, I pose the same question to the devs. big_smile

Edit: Used to be part of the xorg-clients package.  Seems on the update that package got severely cut down.. so cut down, in fact, that it's totally empty:

$ ls -l xorg-clients-*
-rw-r--r--  1 root root 1.8M 2006-01-09 18:29 xorg-clients-6.9.0-2.pkg.tar.gz
-rw-r--r--  1 root root  403 2006-02-18 10:59 xorg-clients-7.0-1.pkg.tar.gz
$ pacman -Qpl xorg-clients-7.0-1.pkg.tar.gz
$

Bug report created
From the bug-report:

JGC wrote:

About glxgears and glxinfo: I tracked them down to the missing MesaDemos source found at mesa3d.sf.net. The package is added to testing as mesa-apps, but since the database hasn't been rebuilt yet, it will not appear on FTP yet.
