Portal and Garry's Mod don't launch

Hello!
When I try to launch Garry's Mod and Portal, nothing happens and the following errors appear in the console:
For Garry's Mod:

My video card is a Radeon HD 4890 which uses the RV790 core series, but I hope that's not the problem .
All my packages are up to date, too. I hope you people can help me, please?  ^^

Have you double checked that you have your lib32 video card drivers?

Trying to remove a child that doesn't believe we're it's parent. Lol, it sounds disturbing...

EDIT1: Also, I dont know about ATIs, but...

PROBLEM: You appear to have OpenGL 1.4.0, but we need at least 2.0.0!

Maybe a swap of drivers?
