Hello.
I have a PC with 2 disks and in one of them I installed Windows 7. In the other one I would like to install Arch. The wiki says:
The Windows installation will create the EFI System Partition which can be used by your Linux bootloader.
This means I have to install the /boot partition on the Windows EFI ones?

Do I have to format the Windows EFI partition or should I mount it as it comes?
Formatting it will erase the Windows EFI files preventing it from booting.

But the wiki says to mount /boot in the EFI partition. Then, if I install GRUB with osprober it will autodetect Windows, isn't it?
Yes mounting it is required but if Windows is already installed and created the ESP then there is no need to format it first as Windows should have done that.
Just as a suggestion unless you have a preference for grub gummiboot or refind are probably simpler for an EFI install.

Ok, so I have only to mount it and install the bootloader in it as the wiki describes? Right?
Thank you.
Right
