Hello,
I'm having a really strange problem with Arch - it sporadically fails to boot, freezing for a couple of seconds in the middle of the boot process (often after Swap activation), after which I get the following cryptic message:
[ 16.691362] pciehp 0000:00:02.0:pcie04: Device 0000:01:00.0 already exists at 0000:01:00, cannot hot-add
[ 16.691362] pciehp 0000:00:02.0:pcie04: Cannot add device at 0000:01:00
after which the system powers off.
This failure is VERY random, sometimes happening several times in a row, and sometimes not appearing for several days. I have a hunch it has something to do with the proprietary Radeon Catalyst (fgrlx) drivers, but I have been unable to find any information through Google.
Here's my journalctl -r log (the error appears at about 05:36:37 if I recall correctly):

Really? No one has ever encountered this issue? I've searched google for answers to no avail whatsoever...

So what is the device that has the pci id? Use lspci to find out.

Maybe this will help.

Maybe this will help.
I actually tried that with no luck. Though, after running lspci I found that the culprit is actually the hybrid graphics card:
01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. [AMD/ATI] Thames [Radeon HD 7500M/7600M Series]
I haven't updated the system in about a month, so I'll update everything now and see if the problem remains.
