Everytime I attempt to compile this driver that I downloaded from RealTek's website I run into a problem.
Here's my make install output: http://pastebin.com/rQWGKYxK
Anybody know of a solution?

Use the AUR package.
"UNIX is simple and coherent" - Dennis Ritchie; "GNU's Not Unix" - Richard Stallman

Is this the right package? Has anybody looked over it to make sure that it isn't malicious? I'm paranoid.

40 people have looked if over and claimed it works. You can also look at the PKGBUILD to see exactly what it is doing.

The package in the AUR installed without a problem and now everything's running smoothly.
