Because xorg-clients was split into many other packages, the xorg upgrade currently in testing may inadvertantly remove many apps and files existing you your system if you don't follow the steps outlined in the recent front-page news post.
If, like me, you accidentally -Syu'd before reading front-page, you'll need to reinstall a bunch of packages:
pacman -S xorg-apps xorg-font-utils xorg-res-utils xorg-server-utils xorg-twm xorg-utils xorg-xauth xorg-xdm xorg-xfs xorg-xfwp xorg-xinit xorg-xkb-utils xorg-xsm
That should set you up.
Note: glxgears and glxinfo are no longer missing - they're in the mesa-apps package.

Well, I found this extremely helpful . I thought the front-page news was only for people updating TO xorg7, not people who had xorg7 already and were just updating.
Btw, I think this makes more sense to put in the Pacman & Package Upgrade Issues forum.

On hindsight, this probably was a dumb place to put it.... but then, for starting a topic in a dumb place, I must be a newbie. If I'm a newbie, then it's in the right place.. but I lose my excuse for being a newbie. INFINITE LOOP!
