Stream to XBMC (Audio)

How  can i make my Arch Linux box to stream audio (spotify mainly) to my xbmc client (openelec)

I think i tried every package that exist now, im starting to loose hair on my scalp, about 30 tabs open in chromium, im starting to get insane. help ! big_smile

Any 1-2-3 guide to get it working would be great!
I got Rygel to work for a while, but the delay was like 10-20 seconds, then i messed it up and now i cant even get Rygel to work again...

Any package tips, any howto, anything whatssoever will help me i think!

Re: Stream to XBMC (Audio)

How about just using a Spotify plugin for XBMC, no need to involve your Arch box at all.

No, it didn't "fix" anything. It just shifted the brokeness one space to the right. - jasonwryan

Re: Stream to XBMC (Audio)

Yeah i have that, but it wouldnt be as seamless as streaming the full pulseaudio sounds from the netbook. Its faster to use the laptop then using hdmi-cec and remote to switch songs ☺
