Re: unable to enumerate USB device on port

Not a solution, but (at least for me) the lts-kernel works reliably with all usb-devices.
With the latest kernels I have massive problems with usb devices and errors similar to yours.

Re: unable to enumerate USB device on port

Hi, I'm having the same issue as the OP. Specifically for my keyboard and mouse.

Funny thing is, that by the time of the original OP post, my system was working perfectly fine. It was only until today, after downgrading the Berkeley DB package to 5.1.29, everything exploded all over the place. After rebooting the computer in case it was an error in a transistor, I guess I'll try chrooting to see the logs and perhaps re-upgrade the package.

Hmm, so do your USB ports work with the LTS kernel?

Yes, they've been working flawlessly until I decided to downgrade the DB package as stated on my previous post, even with the latest kernel.

In the end, it got fixed after chrooting from the Arch install disc image and updating the DB package back to the latest version used before the upgrade (5.3.2x I believe). My guess is that it might have something to do with a feature the kernel needs that just hadn't been implemented/improved on the 5.1.29 version of the Berkeley db package.

Anyhow, I hope this helps guys, even if just a little bit.
