Dwarffortess v0.40.04 not starting.

Basically with the new update I cant play the game installed via pacman  (works if I just download it manually)

This is the output :

./libs/Dwarf_Fortress: /opt/dwarffortress/libs/libstdc++.so.6: version `CXXABI_1.3.5' not found (required by /opt/dwarffortress/libs/libgraphics.so)
./libs/Dwarf_Fortress: /opt/dwarffortress/libs/libstdc++.so.6: version `GLIBCXX_3.4.15' not found (required by /opt/dwarffortress/libs/libgraphics.so)

I have a x86_64 system using [testing] repos.

PS: It worked with v0.40.03.  Also it seems that I cant use the .png sprites so I have to use the .bmp alternative. Any fix for this too?

Where did this come from? It's not in the dwarffortress package:

$ pkgfile -l dwarffortress | grep /lib
multilib/dwarffortress  /opt/dwarffortress/libs/
multilib/dwarffortress  /opt/dwarffortress/libs/Dwarf_Fortress
multilib/dwarffortress  /opt/dwarffortress/libs/libgraphics.so

It appears that the package is corrupt or something along that line.
I manually installed the package (copied from their site) and now it works.

Which package? The package on your local machine, or the one in the repos? I can assure you that the package in the repos is perfectly fine.

I recommend that you remove the dwarffortress package, remove /opt/dwarffortress (to clean out the extra files you've copied there), remove your cached dwarffortress package (if it is corrupted), then redownload and reinstall the dwarffortress package and see if you still have problems.
