Where is xmodmap and etc? [Solved]

Ever since the new update to Xorg 7, I have been unable to use alt+ctrl+f# to switch to virtual terminals, and xmodmap along with xev has disappeared. Firefox also stopped working, but I am starting to like Opera so it does not matter too much although knowing why that happened would be nice too. TIA. toodles.

1) Check xorg.conf.  If you have

Option "XkbRules" "xfree86"

change it to

Option "XkbRules" "xorg"

2) xmodmap belongs to the xorg-server-utils package.  xev belongs to xorg-utils package. In fact, it might be a good idea to re-install all packages listed here:
http://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?t=18928

3) have you changed your paths in xorg.conf yet?

Well I have been using Xorg 7 since it was in testing, so the only problem was that all those packages needed reinstalled. Thankies. =^_^=

Whoa, what a company. The greatest RPG mind, Red Mage, and a somewhat kawaii nekoonnanoko, solving the mysteries of the unsuccessful upgrade together.

Actually, it's kind of sad that this story ended so quickly.

(Sowwy. Couldn't resist. Disregard this. Disregard me. Dusty, come and hijack that thread, so I won't be the one to blame.)
