Regression on webcam driver?

Hi,
on my desktop I was been using logitec camera:

Bus 002 Device 006: ID 046d:0825 Logitech, Inc. Webcam C270

and there were no problems: it worked well with all applications, for example cheese and hangout.
Today, after updrading

[2014-07-25 17:20] [PACMAN] upgraded kdebase-workspace (4.11.10-2 -> 4.11.11-1)
[2014-07-25 17:20] [PACMAN] upgraded postgresql-libs (9.3.4-2 -> 9.3.5-1)
[2014-07-25 17:20] [PACMAN] upgraded telepathy-qt (0.9.3-8 -> 0.9.4-1)

my webcam worked well with cheese but with hangout I can get only a green field.
I even tried to downgrade those packages, but the situation is the same.

What should I do?

Re: Regression on webcam driver?

I found a awkward solution:

in /opt/google

mv GoogleTalkPlugin GoogleTalkPlugin.pippo

then start a video call (it will fail) then

mv GoogleTalkPlugin.pippo GoogleTalkPlugin

I do not know why, but actually it works!
