emacs and libXaw3d.so.7 problem

after upgrading to xorg 7.0 I cannot run emacs because libXaw3d.so.7 file cannot be found.

I reinstalled xaw3d, libxaw and emacs but it's still the same problem.
How to solve it?

The emacs package was working when I installed it. I'm currently using my custom build.  Do you have the most recent packages of emacs and xaw3d?

Re: emacs and libXaw3d.so.7 problem

it's solved now. The problem was that archlinux mirror was not up-to-date and after upgrading emacs to 21.4-4 version, there is no problem with libXaw3d file.

However now, I cannot run emacs under X since I get:

$ emacs
Undefined color: "#000000 "
$

Does anybody have emacs working after upgrading xorg7, if yes could you give a list of xorg packages you've upgraded?

Did you change the paths in your xorg.conf?
