Pulseaudio equalizer - coda slider

Can someone explain to me what exactly the coda slider does in qpaeq (Pulseaudio equalizer GUI).

I wasn't able to find anything online.

I believe these sliders are there to create clean curves for the frequencies between 0Hz (DC) and the first slider (e.g. 31Hz) and the last slider (e.g. 16kHz) and the end of your equalizer (Coda, which is sample_rate/2)
