hello recently install archlinux (KDE environmment) and the system works perfectly ... but there is a small detail that I do not know how to fix it:
I don't open the system settings as root, i type in the terminal:
$ kdesu systemsettings
and nothing happens .. does not throw any errors but does not open system settings.
Best Regards.

Why would you want to open systemsettings as root?

Thanks for the reply, I open systemseetings as root because there are certain applications such as gparted (gtk) that after putting the root password is looked terrible:

I would like if possible to integrate these applications into kde environmment this requires modify GTK system preferences as root.
Best Regards.

The kdesu you're interested in is part of kdebase-runtime.
Running "kdesu systemsettings" works here.
You could just log in as root and set up what you want.

For GTK specific problems (KDE should pass KDE and QT specific theming through kdesu), you should manualling configure GTK to a more attractive theme.
Take a look at this wiki page: https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/GT … n_programs
Install one of those, and run it with sudo or kdesu, and you should be able to adjust your theme accordingly.
Running the lxqt-git repository. If you would like to help cover costs, consider using using my referral link to digital ocean for your next VPS deployment.
