AMD card VGA output misaligned since LTS 3.14

Hi, since the update to Linux LTS 3.14, the VGA output of my AMD graphics card is misaligned (see image below). The graphics card is a Radeon HD 6670 (Turks XT). The digital ports, at least HDMI, are fine though. I do not really know whether it's a configuration or an upstream bug, which is why I am asking here first. Thank you for your help!

Have you tried fixing it with buttons on the monitor / OSD?

That does not help. The misalignment is different every time, and if I adjust the horizontal or vertical position of my monitor, it remains. It occurs in text mode (after initialising graphics) as well as with the X server. However, if I attach the VGA cable after starting the X server, and switch it on, the graphics output is correct.

A short update: After the X server update to 1.16 the graphis system started crashing randomly, so I took the easy way out and installed the Catalyst suite, which worked fine out of the box on all ports.
