boot process freezes in 3.14 kernel after loading certain services

Hi everyone,
I updated from  kernel 3.13 to 3.14 and the boot process froze after loading certain services.I had at that time 3.10 lts that worked fine so I used that.Recently I decided to upgrade and my current kernel became 3.15.7-1 and lts became 3.14 which was the trouble maker earlier. With  3.14 kernel I had problems It would stop in the middle of loading some services and would freeze. Now with the new 3.15.7, I am able boot 3 out of 7 times (appox) successfully, the process reaches Slim login manager and I am able to type the credentials.Sometimes the boot process freezes during loading of services or it reaches the slim login manager and then freezes and the on/off button has to be used to reboot.I read the wiki and forums also but couldn 't find a solutions to the problem.I don't know whether  I have to degrade to 3.13 kernel if its possible at this time.
Any help in this regard would appreciated.Following are two journal files of boots
boot 0 journal ---- http://pastebin.com/t8kULkx9
boot  1 journal --- http://pastebin.com/ifWZVAim

HP Notebook Radeon mobility & intel Gpu

Thank You.

Re: boot process freezes in 3.14 kernel after loading certain services

From an initial glance, I see that in the working boot, the Intel video card is found first, and in the nonworking boot, the ATI card is found first. Also there are some errors in the logs that may need investigation:

Jul 31 16:15:44 myhost kernel: [Firmware Bug]: Duplicate ACPI video bus devices for the same VGA controller, please try module parameter "video.allow_duplicates=1"if the current driver doesn't work.

and

Jul 31 16:13:41 myhost kernel: [Firmware Bug]: ACPI(PEGP) defines _DOD but not _DOS

I am also kinda confused because the "boot 0" in your list links to the "boot error" list, and the "boot 1" in your list links to "second boot", but the time from the second boot is earlier than the time from the boot error. I can't help much on this issue, unfortunately. (I can say that you have some MySQL errors and Slim errors in there as well. May want to look into those.)

3.15 is the most recent kernel. May be it will fix the problem?
