Hi!
I want use a partition on another hard-drive for the «/usr». I tried to copy (cp -a /usr /mnt/sdc1 ) everything there and added to fstab for mounting on boot but getting errors on boot that something is missing.

There is (or used to be) something in the wiki specifically about separate /usr. Maybe on the mkinitcpio page.
But whether the Constitution really be one thing, or another, this much is certain - that it has either authorized such a government as we have had, or has been powerless to prevent it. In either case, it is unfit to exist.

Also, using 'cp -a' isn't good for /usr if only because of hardlinks. I've also had issues where extended attributes weren't maintained, but that may have been PEBCAK. In any case I recommend 'rsync -HaAX'.

I got SSD and I didn't want to reinstall arch, just moved all my apps on a partition there, but now it works, thanks, that guide on wiki really helped. I had no probles with «cp -a» so far, but thanks for a tip.
