Problems with Steam - Dota2 and ETS2

Hello

I had never problems with Arch + xfce but last time I made fresh install of Arch with KDE and problems begins. Strange logs in steam running Dota 2 and Euro Truck Simulator 2. Dota 2 freezing, jumping even 60+ fps, both games can freeze for 1 min with sound.

Im not able to run ETS 2 it's going to change resolution to 1024x768 in whole desktop and then crash. (Launch option: optirun -b primus %command%) output:

I can't be sure but most of the dota2 output looks "normal" to me (I get the same yet it works fine).

eurotrucks is clearly crashing. You could try to force the resolution it uses in its config files?

Or maybe it's missing a lib (you may need to install 32bit versions):

ldd /path/to/eurotrucks

to see if that's the case. If not, you might have to take it up with the eurotrucks developers.

And you could try using fluxbox/openbox just to see what happens. A lot lighter than KDE.

and remember to check for missing 32bit libs.

Well everything worked fine on xfce few months ago. Then I just switched to KDE... It's maybe nice DE but I had lots problems. I remember that xfce + compiz had same problem with Dota2. Even 60+ fps it wasnt smooth scrolling - I solved it by disabling one thing in compiz. In KDE I was doing everthing also disabling animations, plasma, rendering etc. and still freezing in addidtion ETS crash. Anyway thank you for help im sure that Dota 2 freeze because KDE and ETS2 might miss something - but worked only on safe mode with changed resolution. Im tired with KDE Time to back to xfce.

Akikyo do you know about diabling kde's desktop effects by hitting ctrl shift F12? There's also and option to disable by launching fullscreen applications.

Yeah I did it but nothing. I did not change to xfce yet, busy. The soultion might be launching games with fluxbox also completly disabling KDE. It's annoying that console says 60+ fps and when you are scrolling, moving screen by mouse it looks like 30 fps. Any idea? Xfce is the last thing I can do
