Unable to connect to a WiFi network.

I have a new samsung ativ book 4, and I am trying to install arch.

I booted from a CD, and I can't seem to be able to connect to the internet.

I executed 'ip link set wlp2s0 up' and tried to connect using wifi-menu.

No matter which network I try to connect to, wifi-menu returns '2' (I guess its an error code, but I'm not sure).

The network controller name is wlp2s0, and the network card is Qualcomm atheros ar9485.

How can I solve this problem?

Edit: just to clarify, this happens during the installation, there's no arch on the HDD

Re: Unable to connect to a WiFi network.

Have you tried configuring it manually? https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Wi … nual_setup
