Screenshots with cairo-compmgr

Is it possible to
1) specify the default location for saving screenshots with the subj?
2) make cairo screenshot plugin automatically add salt to screenshot name (like e.g time and date)?
3) having 1 and 2, do not display the dialog but rather save the screenshot without prompt?

4*) for some reason after I tried to re-assign the key shortcut for taking the area screenshot it has broken and now it's not possible to make area screenshots - it simply does not get triggered - has anyone ran into the similar situation?

Have you looked intro scrot or maim?

I actually found a rather useful repscrot utility for me in the aur as a workaround but the original issue is still not resolved.
