Asus T100TA

Hey guys,

So, I'm considering buying the Asus T100TA "laptop". I found this thread here on forums, however it's inactive for a few months already, a lot could have changed since then.

My question is, does anyone have experience running Arch on this thing? I'm ok with a lot of tinkering and a few quirks, major features have to work though, even if it's difficult to make them run (wifi and the like).

Obviously buying and trying is not an option - I need to know I can get it to work before I pay. I don't insist on this product in particular, alternatives would be most welcome, but I didn't find anything much.

My main requirement is possibility of "tablet mode" - by that I mean detachable keyboard (trackpad preffered, not required). Also similar price level would be welcome, it is not a problem to pay more but since it would be just a toy, I prefer not to.

I'm not easy to please, I know.

Any ideas?
