Gnome Shell Animations disable & blank problem

Hello, how to completely disable every single animation in Gnome 3.12?  Tt is really annoying and i have not found any info on that.
There is impatience extension but it is not enough.
Edit. Mostly is about "activities" animation wchich is not always fluid on my pc. Any suggestions appreciate.
Also i have problem with screen goes black instantly after watching movie, is there any way to fix that?

Re: Gnome Shell Animations disable & blank problem

I don't know what you mean by "completely", but try this,

gsettings set org.gnome.desktop.interface enable-animations false

You need to restart gnome-shell "completely" IIRC for this to take effect. Maybe just reboot.

A side note, the title is too generic...

Re: Gnome Shell Animations disable & blank problem

Tried that, doesn't work.
Title is generic because i wanted to include something else.

Re: Gnome Shell Animations disable & blank problem

You wanted to include something else, but you are not including them, are you? So please edit the title to reflect better what your question is about.

On topic: what animations do you want to disable?
