Hey guys, I'm thinking this might be related to the new xorg 7.0 because I wasn't getting it before the upgrade. Urxvt does seem to work, but the error message I see after logging out of X is as follows:
urxvt: perl hook 0 evaluation error: Undefined subroutine &Scaler::Util::weaken called at /usr/lib/urxvt/urxvt.pm line 1048Anyone else getting this, or know how to fix it?
Thanks a bunch... ![]()

I'm getting that..... but urxvt doesnt start at all.
It starts upon login, once ion3 starts it in, but from then on I cant start it, I just get that error.

Hmm.. thanks for the reply, iphitus. Guess I'm lucky that it works at all then.
Urxvt is starting fine, colors look correct, and I can start it as many times as I want, but that error comes up with each new start. I'm running Fvwm by the way, but I don't think that's part of the equation since the only thing I've changed is Xorg.

I get that since Xorg7 also, urxvt seems to be behaving normally though.

Yup, I get the error, but it starts for me.

i get this error since the update of perl from 5.8.7 to 5.8.8.
when perl 5.8.8 was in testing i switched back to 5.8.7 in current and the error was gone.
now that 5.8.8 is in current, this error msg is back ![]()
edit: error is gone with urxvt 7.7 :>
