Wacom Bamboo Pad USB model CTH-301 not working.

Hi, I am a newbie and I followed the procedure given in this page https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Wacom_Tablet. It says,

"If you have installed libwacom or associated packages like libwacom-fedora remove those packages first. They are known to cause problems with newer version of X. xf86-input-wacom is the only package you need to install the X11 drivers. "

When I proceed to remove the package however it says that,

$ sudo pacman -R libwacom
checking dependencies...
error: failed to prepare transaction (could not satisfy dependencies)
:: gnome-settings-daemon: requires libwacom

I am running 3.16.0-2-ARCH and gdm 3.12.2-1.

I am new and I have little idea about how to resolve this dependency. If someone has faced a similar issue, please let me know how to fix this.

Thank you,
