Using 4th gen iPod Shuffle

I'd like to be able to put music on my iPod shuffle using Arch.

Using gtkpod, I was able to load the iPod, add music, and save it. But the iPod just says something like "Please run iTunes to use your iPod" when I use it.

Is there some other software that will help me put music on iPod shuffle?

Have you tried Rhythmbox? Do you have the packages mentioned in the wiki page?
