Hello! Today I made a split package with phpBB3 language packs, although I can't submit it and getting the message: "You are not allowed to overwrite the phpbb3-lang-de package."
Why I'm not allowed to overwrite the package which I maintain? This is my first split package and I'm not sure what I missed here. Could someone explain this to me please?

Maybe you should ask this on the mailing list? I don't know what the correct procedure for uploading split packages is.

The AUR only allows one of each package. If you try to upload a duplicate then it will block the upload. If you wish to replace existing packages with a single split package then you must request deletion of those packages first.
I don't even know if there is a way to merge votes from the previous packages when doing this. I'll ask on the aur-general mailing list.

You can follow the mailing list discussion about this here.

Thanks for reply! I followed this ML discussion. In this case that doesn't matter though, there are no votes for packages I want to replace.
Anyhow, if I have to request deletion of every package, then I could upload split package replacing pkgnames phpbb3-lang-* wih phpbb3-i18n-* (that probably would be better) and wait when all phpbb3-lang-* packages are removed, right?

That should work, yes.
