Hey, just stumbled upon this via the Unigine Heaven/Valley benchmark: It reports my graphics card with only 256 MiB RAM which is wrong (1 GiB model). This command reports the same amount:
$ lspci -v -s $(lspci | grep VGA | cut -d" " -f 1)
01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. [AMD/ATI] Cape Verde XT [Radeon HD 7770/8760 / R7 250X] (prog-if 00 [VGA controller])
Subsystem: PC Partner Limited / Sapphire Technology Device e214
Flags: bus master, fast devsel, latency 0, IRQ 44
Memory at d0000000 (64-bit, prefetchable) [size=256M]
Memory at fe4c0000 (64-bit, non-prefetchable) [size=256K]
I/O ports at 9000 [size=256]
Expansion ROM at fe4a0000 [disabled] [size=128K]
Capabilities: <access denied>
Kernel driver in use: radeon
libkmod: kmod_config_parse: /etc/modprobe.d/modprobe.conf line 2: ignoring bad line starting with 'options'
Kernel modules: radeonIt's a Sapphire HD 7770 GHz Edition OC with seriously 1 GiB GDDR5 RAM.
Can I do anything about this? I couldn't find a proper xorg.conf parameter. I'm on Linux 3.17 RC1, Mesa 10.2.5 and xorg-server 1.16. Thank you!

lspci shows the PCI BAR size, not the amount of RAM the card has: http://phoronix.com/forums/showthread.p … #post40510. No idea how Unigine determines the amount of RAM. Can you also check somewhere besides Unigine demos?
Edit: Unigine also says 256MiB on my Haswell machine which has *no* video RAM (there's just the integrated GPU which uses system RAM dynamically), so I wouldn't trust what Unigine says.

Yeah, those numbers look much better, this line couldn't be any clearer:
