Looks like you're syncing with an out of date server. Try changing around your server order in /etc/pacman.d/current and /etc/pacman.d/extra. Then try syncing again.

It's safe to ignore; just means that you've synched to a repo that doesn't have the updated versions of packages you've downloaded off another mirror. It'll go away after a bit on its own.

Thanks for the help in soughting out the out of date repository seems my mirror here in Australia is not updating.

[root@myhost cliff]# pacman -Syu

extra [################] 100% 232K 59.7K/s 00:00:03

The ":: mesa conflicts with celestia. Remove celestia?" has been bug reported.
To fix that issue, let it remove celestia. Then grab celestia PKGBUILD from abs, remove the conflicts=('mesa') line then build/install it.

Which mirror are you using? I've found that Pacific Internet is usually a day or so behind but that doesn't bother me so much.

Yes that is the one but I've had this problem for a while now so by reorganizing the pacman.d repositories no problem
