I installed arch, but messed up by accident(forgot to install the xserver) and i rebooted, now it just boots into a black screen, nothing else. I can't get to a terminal whatsoever, so I can't do any commands. I seriously think I messed up and may need new laptop, Before, I could change the boot order but now it doesn't even get to that screen

Just a hunch, try hitting Ctrl-Alt-F2 at that blank screen.
If that does not work, reboot and change your kernel command line by adding systemd.unit=multi-user
It will boot to a console. Fix the problem. Reboot (normally)

Thanks for the replies guys. It's been fixed, it just hung for about 20 minutes or so, I decided to reinstall and now it works fine.
