Ugh snag on my arch again, this time silverlight and pipelight, you see I use netflix for entertainment and currently it still uses silverlight.
Sadly for me with the recent update pipelight freezes like mad, I want to confirm this here seeing if its only on arch or not.
I know the Ubuntu version works fine, but want to make sure othert archers are experiencing this.

It doesn't answer your question, but perhaps http://www.omgubuntu.co.uk/2014/08/netf … rt-plugins would be of interest to you.

FYI, you can bypass Pipelight and use HTML5 with the latest development version of Chrome (in case you just want to sit down and watch a movie rather than investigate this problem).
See here: https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=185771
Edit: whoops, I see this is what Lucke was saying above too, sorry.

not sure if it is the same thing, but yesterday netflix stoped playing videos for me (freezes on a black screen) on my thinkpad running openbox "standalone" (no gpu). But it still works on my desktop (gnome) (ati gpu, using catalyst-test and xorg 1.15).

Well with regret I cannot use arch right now as with the silverlight workaround not working and the latest chrome being blocked even with user agents this is done as I watch a lot of netflix and dont want to be stuck to my tablet for it.
No back to ubuntu im afraid, pity but I will try again in the future, hopefully pipelight will work.

Are u using a custom UA string, as suggested by @lucke?

For me this approach worked with "Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.3; Win 64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/38.0.2121.3 Safari/537.36" (without quotes)
