Dear all,
My yaourt works fine before, but recently when I wanna update some AUR packages with "yaourt -Syua" or newly install some AUR packages via "yaourt -S package", it told me something like this:
==> Downloading ****** PKGBUILD from AUR...
==> ERROR: ****** not found in AUR.
==> ERROR: unable to update
I've tried many packages from AUR, so I could confirm that such problem is not caused by the package itself, but yaourt. The yaourt version in my system is "1.5-1" working with default /etc/yaourtrc.
I do some research with google and this forums, some theads suggest reinstall yaourt and it dependencies, some suggest test the https connection to aur.archlinux.org, but it don't work either. Hope there are some experts here can solve this problem. Thanks a lot.

Try a different AUR helper and see if it works.

Perhaps cower.... and possibly some light reading (since you seem open to dump yaourt) link
“Clearly, Field Marshal Haig is about to make yet another gargantuan effort to move his drinks cabinet six inches closer to Berlin.”

Dear all,
I've find out the ghost and fix this problem.
The problem is induced by installing Anaconda Python distro in my computer and Anaconda include a strange version of curl, which would break down AUR.
To resolve this, just run conda remove curl.
