[KDE] fast image viewer

Hi,

I would like to have a fast image viewer. KDE support is preferred.

I used:

- Gwenviewer: that's all but fast. It has a long startup time (7-8 seconds on my PC with core duo 6300!).

- Qiviewer: fast but not actively maintaned

- Nomacs: fast but has <delete> image bug (after deletion with <DELETE> key, it skips one image)

any idea?

Re: [KDE] fast image viewer

kuickshow
mirage (it's GTK, but I prefer it; with kde-gtk-config I don't see visual differences to native Qt-Apps)
xv

Re: [KDE] fast image viewer

for KDE support I want mainly KIO-SLAVE (SMB, etc) support.

I noticed that sxiv doesn't the command to delete current image, is it  right?

Wait, are you perfectly happy with nomacs other than that one little issue? Just fix it! smile

Have you filed a bug report? Have you looked at the code? It sounds like such a simple little thing. Don't throw out the baby with the bath water. wink

You can define your own commands, see the wiki: https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Sxiv
