HI,
I just created a new Wiki page https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Canon_CARPS but failed to notice that I had, in fact, created a User page. I thought that 'moving' it would rename it, but of course, stupidly, didn't realise it would create a redirect for the 'old' User page.
If one of the admins could please delete the redirect for the User page 'Aerion', that'd be brilliant!
Sorry for the mess!
Cheers,
Emile

Hi, the page is deleted, anyway you have done absolutely the right thing by moving the page, instead of just copy-pasting the content in a new article: that way you have moved also all the history of the page, which would have otherwise been lost. This is just to make it clear to everybody reading here: copy-pasting to rename a page is bad, moving it is good.
Also, please next time post in ArchWiki talk:Administrators or even ArchWiki:Requests for requests like this. (EDIT: ...and I guess you should mark this thread as solved)

Excellent, thank you!
Thanks for the pointers to the correct places for such requests, I will do so in the future.

Um... I was distracted and answered too much in a hurry... Instead of starting any discussions, in this case you should have simply marked the page for deletion by replacing any remaining content with:
{{Deletion|I used this page to create [[Canon CARPS]].}}

OK, noted.
Thanks!
