Transparent window background for GTK

I'm using I3 on top of the XFCE4. I'm wondering if there is any way to make a GTK theme with a transparent background color. I'm not speaking about making just terminal windows transparent. I want to make all GTK windows have transparent background color, if that's even possible.

Re: Transparent window background for GTK

Hi,

GTK theme needs to support RGBA and you need to be running a composite manager (like xcomposite, compton)

edit theme gtkrc and change gtk-xft-rgb value from rgb to rgba, or if the option is called rgba something and value is false, change it to true.

Maybe that works?
