I have booted into archlinux-2014.09.03-dual.iso
After selecting 86_64 from the option list the terminal beings to show messages, however the font is too small, I can barley read it.
It also gets stuck just after Triggering uevents.
How can I get the font bigger so that I can begin a comfortable installation?
Thanks.

Read alot of the page u sent.
setfont lat2-16
After this cmd, no change in font size.
Also tried other fonts available in
ls /usr/share/kbd/consolefonts/
such as
default8x16
goha-16
No change in size.
Its more likly resolution than font.
And I believe this is a installation issue, because I do not have any ArchLinux system install, direct from boot disc the font is tiny, I don't see how I can get around this.

Did you try a size bigger than 16? See if disabling KMS makes any difference.

Bigger size than 16 results in a font not found issue.
I assumed the
setfont lat2-16 command only allowed a parameter of available fonts in the directory
la2-8, la2-12, etc (16 being the biggest I could find, or default8x16
I have not tried disabling KMS, do you have a desired command in mind you think would work?

Look through /usr/share/kbd/consolefonts: there are larger fonts there.
There is a KMS page on the wiki...

adding nomodeset to the options list before boot works.
Thanks!
