making pkgbuild for keytouch

I talked to JGC on IRC. The scripts in /etc/X11/Xsession.d/ should be executed. He gave me some hints (that I had already tried ) but without success. I might give it another shot. :? In any case, expect keytouch in AUR tonight or later this week.

but I still would change the line "Categories=Application;Accessories" in keytouch.desktop by "Categories=Application;Utility;". Otherwise it creates the shortcut in a folder called "other" in gnome instead of Accessories. I don't know how this is in other window managers?

I changed the .desktop file (and did other minor fixes). I use fvwm and it doesn't use these .desktop files. I assume that these changes will be OK for users of other WM.

Looks like there`s a bug in the /etc/rc.d/keytouch script. It looks for /usr/bin/keytouch-init which does not exist.

[root@workstation andyrtr]# /etc/rc.d/keytouch restart

/etc/rc.d/keytouch: line 9: /usr/bin/keytouch-init: Datei oder Verzeichnis nicht gefunden [FAIL]

I have /usr/bin/keytouch-init on my system. It should be inculed in the package.
Are you sure you're using the keytouch tarball from AUR? I'm guessing that you're still using some remains of a previous build. Try:
- remove keytouch package
- get tarball from AUR
- makepkg and pacman -A

No. I've just rebuildet it completly. /usr/bin/keytouch won't be created!

The plugins are also no longer installed. :? Probably a bug appeared between the various versions of the PKGBUILD.

Try keytouch 2.0.1-3 (new AUR update). It should work now.

when i start keytouch if fails after enter the root-password:

LibMXml: Could not open the XML document.

sh: /usr/bin/xauth: No such file or directory

(keytouch-keyboard-bin:14765): Gtk-WARNING **: cannot open display:

keytouch: '/etc/keytouch/current_keyboard.xml' is invalid

do you have /usr/bin/xauth on your system? If you're using xorg7, it should be there (it's in xorg-xauth).
You need to configure keytouch for your keyboard (if your keyboard is not already supported):
