set up wlan after install

Hi,
I just installed arch. Everythings fine, but if I want to use wifi through the networkmanager I cannot connect to the wlan. I can see the accesspoints, but the chip doenot prompt me to insert the wlan key. So nothing happens.
I am using a Thinkpad SL510 with a iwlwifi.

Maybe someone can help me. Thanks!

I am coming back to Arch after 5 years using Gentoo. Good to be back.

Re: set up wlan after install

What happens when you work through the manual connection process (errors, logs, etc)?

Not an Installation issue, moving to NC...

Re: set up wlan after install

I suggest you use wicd with a GUI. Works like a charm.

pacman -S wicd wicd-gtk
systemctl enable wicd
systemctl start wicd
wicd-client --tray &
