(sky2) hw csum failure

I'm using a Core Duo MacBook as a file server.

Its Ethernet connection is repeatedly disconnecting, and the console is being spammed with "ens5: hw csum failure."

Apparently this was/is a common problem with the sky2 driver module for this particular Marvell chip.

This is causing downtime I'd rather avoid. I haven't found any solutions.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Re: (sky2) hw csum failure

FWIW, I have tried multiple cat5 cables as well as multiple Ethernet jacks, so I am relatively certain this isn't a hardware issue.
