I connected through lan my pc with the media player that has a hard disk. I would like to be able to send files from pc to media player. How could I do it? In the media player there are options for TCP/IP.
Thank you

What options does your mediaplayer support? Most likely there is some sort of streaming client on your media player and you'll have to install a supported media server on your pc.

In Ethernet there are 3 options:
-TCP/IP Setup (Here there are fields for: IP Address, Netmask, Gateway, DND Primary Server, DNS Secondary Server, MAC)
-FTP Explorer
-IP Streaming
I want to see the media player hard disk from my pc to upload videos. I think I have to use the TCP/IP Setup, but how?

what brand/model is the media player? typically you need an application that can provide the video/audio in a way that the mediaplayer can understand.

Actually it is a SAT, DVB-T receiver, that is also media player and pvr. This is the model: http://www.vantage-digital.com/hdtv-rec … 000ts.html

according to the spec page and a poorly translated streaming document the unit that you have only is able to stream between themselves (multiple receivers ex: whole-house dvr), there is no mention of upnp or any other streaming protocol that i can see in the spec sheet for the device or in the manuals. the only thing i can see where the receiver would interface with a computer is if you use the DVR Studio application which would allow you to take things that you recorded and copy them onto your computer.

What about the TCP/IP settings? Can't I make a network, so as my pc sees the hard disk of the media player as a part of the network? What I want in the media players disk video files, I don't want to stream them.
Thank you for replies.

You'd need something on the receiving end to translate data traffic from your PC. You can't simply connect a device to a network doesn't allow you to interact or control it from a PC. If the DVR box doesn't have software installed on it to allow for network file trasnfers or NFS connections, then you can't transfer files to it over a network. Simple as that.

What about that "FTP Explorer"? The manual says:
FTP Explorer
Press O.K. to connect the FTP Server
Select file and press Red Key for S/W
update. You cvan download pictures,
firmware and video files
