I've got a PTP mode usb digital camera, and i had it working correctly following lanrat's instructions on http://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?t=16947.
The last time I used the camera was about 2 weeks ago, but now I can only access it as root. I suppose there were some changes in udev pertaining to cameras or permissions, but I can't find any mention of it.
So, anybody know what can be done to access the camera as a regular user?
By the way, the system's updated to testing.

with system update to testing you should be able to acess the camera when you are in camera group, you also need libgphoto form testing to get the permissions working.
EDIT:
libusb is also needed from testing not only udev

Thanks, yes, I had all the dependencies installed, and have already found what was the problem.
I just needed to edit the /etc/udev/rules.d/gphoto.rules file: uncomment the 'USB PTP Class Camera' line and fill in the appropiate 'idVendor' and 'idProduct' values.
