[SOLVED]missing /etc/ssl/certs/ca-certificates.crt

Upgraded today, here are the packages:

[2014-09-22 18:33] [PACMAN] starting full system upgrade
[2014-09-22 18:33] [PACMAN] removed ca-certificates-java (20140324-4)
[2014-09-22 18:33] [PACMAN] upgraded p11-kit (0.20.7-1 -> 0.20.7-2)
[2014-09-22 18:33] [PACMAN] upgraded ca-certificates-utils (20140325-2 -> 20140923-2)
[2014-09-22 18:33] [PACMAN] upgraded ca-certificates-mozilla (3.17-3 -> 3.17-4)
[2014-09-22 18:33] [PACMAN] upgraded ca-certificates-cacert (20140824-1 -> 20140824-2)
[2014-09-22 18:33] [PACMAN] upgraded ca-certificates (20140325-2 -> 20140923-2)
[2014-09-22 18:33] [PACMAN] upgraded nss (3.17-3 -> 3.17-4)

Now I can't download packages from the aur, or send emails to my gmail account using msmtp, for example. I'm not sure how many other things are affected, but I can still browse the internet without any problems. Looking at various certificate related posts over the last few months reveal that not only do I not have the file indicated in the title, but that entire directory is empty except for the following:

% cd /etc/ssl/certs
ca-bundle.crt  ca-bundle.trust.crt  java

Additionally, I am missing /usr/bin/update-ca-certificates. I can see that it is no longer included with the ca-certificates-utils package. Anyone else having this problem? Did I miss some important Arch Linux news announcement?

I can confirm that lots of things are broken and there was no announcement. If there isn't a bug report yet, I'll file one.

I didn't say a whole lot in the bug report, but it should be good enough to get this started.
