Forcing AMD Crossfire

First for some background information, I have 2 HD5750s and I have crossfire successfully set up. I can prove this by testing it with the Heaven benchmark and with "aticonfig --cfl=on".

The annoying thing, though, is it doesn't appear ANY games can use crossfire, regardless of whether they're from Steam or standalone executables.

I've tried renaming executables as "AFR-FriendlyOGL".  The "/etc/ati/atiogl.xml" didn't exist, so I tried creating that and adding games there, which also didn't work.

The one and only reason I replaced the radeon drivers with Catalyst was for crossfire support.  What am I doing wrong, and does anybody have any suggestions?
