Hi Folks
I'm currently having problems with pacman. My system is currently up to date, testing repositories are not enabled.
Pacman works fine when installing from an repo. The problem is when I try to install an AUR package I get:
pacman -U https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/ai/airstrike/airstrike.tar.gz
airstrike.tar.gz 0.9K 1235.8K/s 00:00:00 [###################################] 100%
error: missing package metadata in /var/cache/pacman/pkg/airstrike.tar.gz
error: '/var/cache/pacman/pkg/airstrike.tar.gz': invalid or corrupted packageThis happens no matter what the package is.
I'm going to try and remove:
openssl, libarchive, libfetch and pacman
and reinstall them using the script thats located around this forum somewhere and see if that works.

This is a tAURball, not an Arch package thus it is invalid. Read https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/AUR on how to use AUR.

That's just the package you download to make the package yourself.
