loud beep through speakers on boot and after resume

Hi there,

since Kernel 3.16.2 or 3.16.3 (3.16.1 was fine) I'm getting a very loud and distorted beep noise through the speakers on my laptop (HP 6510b). This happens once on startup and every time I resume from STR. Just to clarify, I do NOT mean the standard internal bios speaker that beeps, I mean the ones actually connected to the sound card.

Alsamixer says it's an "Analog Devices ID 1981" card.

Anyone else having these issues?
