BFS kernel and headphone jack.

I have noticed that when I use the bfs kernel from AUR my laptop automatically outputs volume to the headphone jack and not the speakers. To get sound in the speakers I have to either plug in and unplug headphones or go to alsamixer and turn up the speakers volume. This has happened with all the versions of the BFS kernel I have used.

My specs are
linux-bfs (3.16.3 x86_x64)
HDA Intel PCH ALC269B

Anyone know why this happens?

Re: BFS kernel and headphone jack.

Maybe a "race condition" bug in the ALSA code. BFS can expose such bugs, when they exist and when the default scheduler might be, through luck, hiding the bug.
