Hi,
I got a new Keyboard (perixx px-1800), but when I press ctrl (strg), win, alt or alt-gr the shift key is recognized:
Using xev and pressing one of the above keys results in:
KeyRelease event, serial 32, synthetic NO, window 0x1c00001,
root 0x25f, subw 0x0, time 491023, (545,581), root:(1510,626),
state 0x11, keycode 50 (keysym 0xffe1, Shift_L), same_screen YES,
XLookupString gives 0 bytes:
XFilterEvent returns: False
KeyPress event, serial 32, synthetic NO, window 0x1c00001,
root 0x25f, subw 0x0, time 492039, (545,581), root:(1510,626),
state 0x10, keycode 50 (keysym 0xffe1, Shift_L), same_screen YES,
XLookupString gives 0 bytes:
XmbLookupString gives 0 bytes:
XFilterEvent returns: False
When I hold more than one of the above keys at the same time, only one event is listed. Holding one of the above and a letter has the same result as shift + this letter (alt+a=A). This happens in X and in the console. When editing syslinux at startup, those keys are not recognized as shift, thus I assume the keyboard would work there normally. On Windows it works perfectly without any extra driver.
Any Ideas how to fix this?
