Dual-head Not Working

I have two monitors and two graphic cards. One monitor per card. According to the multihead wiki, this setup should be feasible but I am struggling to get this setup correctly.

I would like to have both monitors work nicely as one shared desktop.

The trouble is, I can't seem to get my second monitor recognized to configure it! I can see the monitor in /var/log/Xorg.0.log but can't seem to get xrandr to take notice.

Look for the RADEON(G0) section. It is the device that the monitor that is not working is plugged into.
